AA Metals was founded by Jack Cheng in July 2003. Mr. Cheng has been dealing with metals since 1986 when he went to college with a major in Non-Ferrous Metallurgy. He received his 1st Ph.D. in Iron& Steel Making in China and then obtained 2nd Ph.D. in aluminum from the University of Kentucky in year 2000. He then continuously worked as a Sr. Metallurgist at the Center of Aluminum Technology from the Unversity of Kentucky until he started AA Metals, Inc.

Because of his strong background, A A Metals always put quality control as its first priority. We understand that if quality is not good, then no matter how competitive the prices will be, that will only create trouble for our customers. Therefore, we are very selective in picking our mills and suppliers worldwide.
